In a strange coincidence two separate interviews I did both dropped this week.
Keep the Mess
The first was with Eden Alexander on Keep the Mess a podcast of long form interviews on the subject of embodiment and people’s relationship to their bodies. Eden is a great interviewer and I had a lot of fun talking to him. He also got a lot more vulnerability out of me than I am used to sharing (he is super careful about consent and honoring the people he interviews—I had full veto power on the final version before it dropped) so if you want to hear about my experience of embodiment together with a bunch of asides about transness and being a queer third culture kid you will likely enjoy this one.
Faithfully Memphis
The second interview was with Emily over at Faithfully Memphis where I got to chat with Emily about being a teen Evangelical in the 90s, tell the story of my shift from non-affirming Evangelicalism to queer liberationist Anabaptist. This conversation was just loads and loads of fun and I got to lay out a lot of why it is so important to me that we celebrate queerness in the church.
Let me know how you like them!
