First Sneek Peek at Our Book

Christ and Cascadia has just released the first excerpt from our forthcoming book.

In case you weren’t yet aware, my brother Paul Hoard and I just finished writing a book on Disgust and Eucontamination. The book is a psychological, theological, and sociological exploration of the role that Disgust and an overapplied purity/contamination metaphor has played in shaping our thinking and our world.

And now the first peek at the book’s contents was just published by Christ and Cascadia! You can read it HERE. The section is titled Prophetic Heresie and explores our relationship to knowledge, Truth, and doubt. We argue that prophetic speech, which aims to expose us to Truth, is a eucontaminant which works to overcome the bullshit false worlds we build with convenient knowledge.
